Albourne is a village and civil parish in the Mid Sussex district of West Sussex, England. It lies just off the A23 road 3 miles (4.8km) east of Henfield. The parish has a land area of 772.9 hectares (1909 acres). In the 2001 census 600 people lived in 234 households, of whom 321 were economically active.
The village is home to a number of old and historic buildings, such as Gallops (an old timber building, and the oldest building in the village), and The Pound now owned by Brighton & Hove Albion footballer Gareth Nelson, which was used to impound straying animals. Both buildings were built in the 17th century. There is also the church of St. Bartholomew.
There is a BHS (British Horse Society) and ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools) approved riding school - Albourne Equestrian Centre, which also provides a livery service. The riding school caters for beginners and experienced riders, both children and adults. Albourne is also just a short drive from the world famous All England Jumping Course at Hickstead.
A golf course, 'Singing Hills', can also be found in Albourne.
Albourne has a country club called Wickwoods.
