Alter ego Augusta Seger
Abilities can duplicate the abilities of others

Albino (Augusta Seger) is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe. He is an enemy of the Avengers (primarily Hawkeye) and has worked with such characters as the Taskmaster. Only appearing in one issue, his debut was Hawkeye: Earth's Mightiest Marksman #1. Augusta Seger is one of the many recruits of the Taskmaster while the villain was hiring normal criminals he would mutate to use in his army against the Avengers.

[edit] Fictional character biography

Augusta Seger grew up the palest student in his school, always being made fun of because of his extremely white skin and developing the nickname "Albino." As he became an adult, he was a low-life criminal and petty thief who made fun of superheroes due to their ridiculous outfits and phrases. One day, he especially came to dislike Captain America, and soon later, the avenger helped put Seger's partner in crime in prison. Angered by this factor, the Albino felt he must avenge his friend by destroying the Avengers. One day he met the Taskmaster, who offered him a job to join his new recruit of supervillains called the Power Men. Albino accepted, and he was brought to a laboratory to be mutated into a powerful superhuman. After taking in a serum similar to that of Captain America's, (to Augusta's dislike) Albino got the ability to duplicate the powers of others. Almost right after this effect, Avengers Hawkeye, Firestar, and Justice broke into the building and fought the Taskmaster and some of his new recruits. The battle ended in a laboratory explosion that caused most of the hired criminals to lose their abilities. Augusta was one of these people, and after the Taskmaster was defeated he was taken into custody and never seen after.

[edit] The New Albino

After Augusta was arrested and put in jail, he met his old partner in crime, and he accidentally transferred his powers to his friend, due to his disappartent knowledge of his sudden usage of the ability. Augusta's friend, named Ulysses Counts, now had the ability to turn invisible and "phase" through solid objects. Ulysses escaped from jail and became the new albino, carrying on what his friend had started and trying repeatedly to destroy the Avengers. Once, he joined one small group of Baron Zemo's Masters of Evil. The group attacked the hero team's base Stark Tower and almost killed a few members before Iron Man returned to his mansion and fought the group. Albino was killed at the end of this battle.
