Albine de Montholon

Albine de Montholon was the wife of Charles Tristan, marquis de Montholon. She stayed with Napoleon during his final years of exile on Saint Helena and may have had an illegitmate child, Hélène Napoleone Bonaparte, with him. Albine became pregnant on the way to Helena. As she had two partners at the time – her husband and Napoleon – we do not know who conceived Hélène.^{[citation needed]}

She was played by Elsa Zylberstein in the film Monsieur N.[1]
