Albignasego is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 35 km west of Venice and about 7 km south of Padua. As of 31 December 2006, it had a population of 20,561 and an area of 21.0 km².[1]
The municipality of Albignasego contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Carpanedo, Ferri, Lion, Mandriola, S. Agostino, S. Giacomo, S. Lorenzo, and S.Tommaso.
Albignasego borders the following municipalities: Abano Terme, Casalserugo, Maserà di Padova, Padua, Ponte San Nicolò.
