Colonel Alberto Larraguibel Morales (Angol, Chile, May 30, 1919 - Santiago, Chile, April 12, 1995) was a Chilean Army officer, and is the current holder of the record for Puissance (high-jump) on Horseback, one of the longest-running unbroken sport records in history (59 years as of 2008.)

Then Captain Alberto Larraguibel Morales broke the record for the "high-jump" on horseback (Puissance) at 8 ft. 1¼ in. (2.47 m), riding Huaso ex-"Faithfull", at the Official International Event at Viña del Mar, Chile on February 5, 1949. The Committee of Records ratified this record on May 28, 1949 and stated that a height of at least 2.49 metres must be cleared to beat it.
