Alberto Federico Acosta (born 23 August 1966 in Arocena, Argentina), known popularly as "Beto" Acosta, is an Argentine former football striker. He was born on August 23, 1966, in the city of Arocena in the Santa Fe Province of Argentina.

Acosta is currently working as the joint manager of Club Atlético Fénix of the regionalised 4th division of Argentine football.

Acosta is probably most famous for becoming the top scorer in South American football in 1994. He scored a total of 33 goals to claim the title.

He played his first professional game for Unión de Santa Fe in 1986. In 1988 he moved to San Lorenzo, a club he would play for in four spells during his career.

He also played for Boca Juniors in Argentina, Toulouse FC in France Universidad Católica in Chile, Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan and Sporting Lisbon in Portugal. He was one of the keys for Sporting's title in the 1999-2000 season (which failed to come to Alvalade for 18 years) and still Beto Acosta is very cherished and fondly remembered among fans.
