[edit] Thanks for documenting Al !

I would like to thank CP for documenting this little bit of hockey history. Thanks, Mr. Harman (talk) 01:45, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

No problem, but are you certain that the final ref was a parody site? I couldn't see any evidence (at least none that would violate WP:OR) that it was. I readded the section, but with a disclaimer of sorts. If there's hard evidence that it's a parody site, however, I'll gladly just take it out for good. Cheers, CP 02:22, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
After looking through many of the postings, it appears that these St Louis Fylers (note the spelling!) are a bunch of guys who play informal street hockey together. They don't belong to a league and I sure that that particular posting about Al was tongue in cheek. Investigate the postings when you have the time (like this one). All references to it removed. Too bad it was false, it was a great little factoid. I think the article's kind of weak now, but I'm out of sources. Cheers, CP 16:52, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
I agree. It was an interesting story. I'll see if I can find some further information. Thanks again, Mr. Harman (talk) 19:58, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
