[edit] Summary

TEM Bright field image of an Al-Cu alloy specimen, with precipitates (rods) seen in host matrix, lying along their habit planes. Specimen prepared by electropolishing and argon ion-milling.

Self Made.

Al-Cu alloy taken at 100kV on a Phillips TEM, scanned film image. Image enhancements: Despeckle, cropped, reduced size (cubic), levels adjustment (GIMP).

Scale bar is approximate as image uncalibrated.

(image is not that great, but hopefully useable)
