Akhtamar Sevan

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Akhtamar Sevan is an Armenian football club from Sevan. The club participated as in the first ever Armenian football competition after the split-up from the Soviet Union. After the regular competition they did not qualify for the championship stage, but were forced to play in the relegation stage. Here they finished in tenth position (22nd overall), which forced them to play in the Armenian First League (second level) for the 1993 season. After they finished fourth in their group that season they withdrew and never returned back into professional football as of today.
