[edit] McLibel picture

The licence is as is shown on the page, you could double check the spanner films website, but I believe that that licence is the best representation of their intentions, and I am not really able to licence it in any other way. Copyrighted with free use, is a good - basically free - and is in many ways similar to the GFDL, there shouldn't be a problem uploading the image to the commons under that licence.--Peta 21:05, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Have changed the tagging on the Whats Wrong With Mcdonalds image to
Copyrighted This image is of a poster, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher or the creator of the work depicted. It is believed that the use of scaled-down, low-resolution images of posters
  • to provide critical commentary on the film, event, etc. in question or of the poster itself, not solely for illustration
  • on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation,

qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Non-free content for more information.

To the uploader: please add a detailed fair use rationale for each use as well as the source of the work and copyright information.

, hope this is OK? quercus robur 17:09, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Marialadouce | parlami 20:52, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

The fact is, it has no citations. Therefore, it may not be factually accurate under good article criteria, and ignores guidelines such as verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources and Wikipedia:Reliable sources if you wish to know more. Alientraveller 19:46, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
(Copied from the Léonce Perret talk page) I think that, before we begin nominating it for awards on Wikipedia, we must find citations for the facts within the article. From the various Peer Reviews that this article has gone through, the main concern was citations. It is so difficult to do this, as English biographies are often difficult to find on Perret. Finding citations is probably the most difficult part about translated articles. Many editors have already expressed that it is a very well-written article. Let's work on finding proof for the statements made, and in the near future, this might actually become a featured article. You're doing a fantastic job, and it is my hope also that this article might become featured soon. --lovelaughterlife♥talk? 16:39, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
