The gneral comments on this article to date, that it is presently too much like a personal essay, and not (yet) enough like an encyclopedia article restricted to established facts, are well taken, and I plan to further prune it of opinion & speculation. Hopefully, more than the one sentence at the top, which was the entire previous article, will remain. (Alas, little is yet known about Etruscan culture & mythology, beyond the visual documents, whose reproduction here is severely restricted by copyright concerns.) Winslow Shea
