I used the insignia from the insignia table page. They're rather small and lacking in detail for use here, but better than nothing. If anyone finds higher quality, larger, and consistent-looking insignia for all the air force enlisted, please feel free to replace these. I think leaving the table page as the small ones is best, however, due to server load. - Wguynes 06:47, Mar 27, 2004 (UTC)

The A1c is also a test that is used primarily to monitor the glucose control of diabetics - maybe some sort of dismbigation needed?

'airman' is also a navy rating, and airman first class (abbreviated A1, i believe) would be petty officer first class with that rating and wears green stripes on their blues/whites. does anybody have some info on this subject theyd like to post? -Lordraydens 01:46, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

The rank of Airman First Class is also granted to Eagle Scouts who choose to enlist in the Air Force.
