Dustin Pesnell currently President of Freed Sales, an independent sales rep firm based in Miami, originally founded Airwave Technologies in 2004. In a recent interview Dustin Pesnell recalled his decision to start the company - “One of my largest dealers told me of their need for a top quality, inexpensive slimline headset that they could market to ministers, churches, and educators. The products that were available to date were too expensive, very fragile, and weren’t adjustable. As a result, they didn’t fit reliably on differently shaped heads and tended to fall off during sermons. We partnered with a reliable factory in China (who currently manufactures microphone products for some of the top brands around the world) and created the HSD slimline headset which is compatible with all of the top brands of wireless systems on the market.” “We then filled out the line with other pro quality products at great price points and we’re pleased to partner with such a respected brand and capable organization as Hohner, Inc.”

Hohner Inc has entered into an exclusive North American distribution agreement with Airwave Technologies. Clay Edwards, President of Hohner Inc. stated, “I’m very excited and pleased to partner with Airwave Technologies. We look forward to achieving growth and success together in 2007 and beyond.”

Scott Emmerman, Hohner’s Director of Marketing and Sales commented “Airwave products will enable Hohner to move into the technology segment of the market for the first time. We are already in production of the first Hohner branded product that will be produced in partnership with Airwave. We feel that it will be a ground breaking product that combines the best of Hohner’s 150 year old heritage of quality with Airwave’s cutting edge digital expertise.”
