Air Data Inertial Reference Unit

Air Data Inertial Reference Unit (ADIRU) is an aircraft component."[1]

A ADIRU provides attitude, airspeed, position and altitude for the aircraft that is using it. This component acts as a "single, fault tolerant" source for both pilots of an aircraft.[2] This device will be used on the new Airbus.[3]
