Aileen Fisher

Aileen Fisher (b. September 9, 1906 in Iron River, Michigan, d. December 2, 2002 in Boulder, Colorado) was a prominent writer for children.

In her long writing career, Fisher produced dozens of volumes of stories, poetry, plays, and nonfiction for children. Her love of animals and the natural world infuses much of her work.[1]
