Aidan Cooney is an Irish television presenter. He is a presenter of Ireland AM. He also has a weekly Saturday afternoon sports show on Q102.

Easily the most versatile of the team, he anchors the sports bulletins in between running in and out of the studio kitchen where he interviews various chefs before helping his considerably large stomach to a generous taste of their labours.

Aidan also anchors the show on a regular basis and has in the past fronted the stations nightly flagship show Sports Tonight and was frontman for the Champions League series for three seasons. He was TV3 news anchor from 1998-2003 He took part in the Dublin Marathon in 2006 and 2007. [1]
