It looks as if the image is from one of the German Nanga Parbat expeditions in 1934 or 1939. There is no SS standard to be seen, so it's unlikely that the picture is related to the Ahnenerbe project. As such (and considering that it's uncertain who took the picture and what its subject is) fair use in the Ahnenerbe article is really stretching "fair use" too far.
