Ahmet Suat Ozyazici was born in Trabzon, Turkey in 1936. He is one of the most successful Managers in Turkish soccer history, gaining four Turkish Super League titles equal record with Fatih Terim and gaining two Turkish Cups all with Trabzonspor. He played football for Trabzon Idmanocagi for several years when he retired he became a manager. In 1975-1976 he led Trabzonspor to its first League title and became the first Turkish team besides the Big Three to win the Turkish Super League. This era was called "Efsane Takimi". Further titles came with Ozyazici in the Seasons 76-77, 78-79, 79-80. Ozyazici's Trabzonspor showed success in the European Cup by beating English giants Liverpool in the late 1970s. After his successful years at Trabzonspor, he left his job and managed Bursaspor and Sariyer. Trabzonspor today is still the only Team to win the league title besides Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and Besiktas. Ahmet Suat Ozyazici now lives in Trabzon.
