Agueda Amaral

Agueda Fatima Amaral (born May 27, 1972) is an East Timorese marathon runner. She competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Olympics.[1]

In September 1999 she had to flee to the mountains outside Dili due to the 1999 East Timorese crisis. When she returned home she discovered her place had been looted in the interim.[2]
