It arguably exists, because we do not know what Middle eastern herb it's referring too, since alot of them can make a red liquid. Xuchilbara 03:40, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yep, the Necronomicon itself is by and large considered purely fictional by most occultists (comically referred to as the "simonomicon"). Regardless of the claimed egregore-like existence of its entities, the plants are definitely fictional within that text.
