[edit] Missing Organisations
I apologise in advance to all those people who will notice that I only got the BSA, TSA and GGUK in the table so far - I only had time to retrieve information on these organisations... I will welcome anyone coming along and adding their organisation and sections to the table Horus Kol 14:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Table alignments
I've been doing my nut trying to get the table cell contents to be vertically aligned and make it look tidier... anyone able to help? Horus Kol 10:24, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- found it - Help:Table#Vertical_alignment - table model is a bit difficult in wikipedia if you've come from a HTML background... Horus Kol 11:28, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Austria
Could somebody - who knows enough to do it correctly - move both "Caravelles" and "Explorers" from "Senior Section(s)" to "Core Section"? The PPÖ has - like some other oragnizations - a split core section. --jergen 20:31, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- done - it also made sense for the GSUSA "STUDIO 2B" age range... Horus Kol 15:03, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] necessary?
As this information is repeated in the individual articles, what is the purpose of replicating it here? Chris 20:57, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] New Zealand
I'll put it here because i do not know how to use tables in Wikipedia. Kea scouts is 5-7 year olds, Cub scouts is 7 - 10, Scouts is 10 - 14, Venterers is 14 - 18 and rovers is from 18 to 25 203.98.31.34 23:28, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Can you check the ages on Scouting New Zealand ?--Egel Reaction? 06:34, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
The ages are also correct. Scouts NZ does not say when a child reaches a certain age they must go up, they are recommendations. If a Scout, Cub or kea is doing exceptionally well they may go to the next group from the ages stated above. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.98.31.34 (talk) 02:46, August 23, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Canada Guides no label.svg
Image:Canada Guides no label.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Name of article
Per Wikipedia policy, the article's name should be: "Age groups in Scouting and Guiding", with a small "g". --Jagz (talk) 14:33, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- Done. That is a common sense, non-contentious rename. Double redirects fixed. --— Gadget850 (Ed) talk - 14:51, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Austria PPO.svg
The image Image:Austria PPO.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.
The following images also have this problem:
