Age Rings is an American rock music group from Boston, Massachusetts, consisting of singer and guitarist Ted Billings, bassist Andrew McInnes, guitarist Will Spitz, keyboardist Alex Sepe, synth player Peter Baker, and drummer Steve Sherwin. Their music has been compared to Wilco, Pavement, and Spoon.[1] As of March, 2008, the band is working on its second album, a double album called Black Honey. Age Rings released a free digital "single" on February 26, 2008, consisting of two songs from Black Honey: "Big Black Hole" and "Vanessa's Neck." Both songs were inspired by Bret Easton Ellis novels.[2]
