I'm sure the author of these comments about the meaning of this song has not listened to the first four albums in order. If he does, I'm sure he'll see a distinct pattern emerge regarding temptation, downfall and redemption. I'm willing to bet that Black Sabbath had a clear conception about this. When Ozzie sings, he is speaking variously as Satan, narrator, and our Saviour.
