African Theological Archministry

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The African Theological Archministry is a new religious movement in the tradition of Yoruba religion.

The group was founded by Walter Eugene King. In 1970, King renamed himself as "King Oba Efuntola Adelabu Adefunmi I" and moved his congregation to South Carolina, where they founded the Oyotunji community. The church has grown over the years, having nineteen affiliated centers in the United States in 1988.
