Afonso is absolutely correct. He is Portuguese. Alfonso is Spanish...

[edit] Requested move

I'm requesting this article to be renamed Afonso, Prince of Portugal, since there's is no official title named Crown Prince of Portugal. He was the heir to the throne, and used the title Prince of Portugal, reserved for the eldest son of the monarch, while his younger brothers and sisters used the titles Infante and/or Infanta. This article has been renamed from Afonso, Crown Prince of Portugal to Afonso, Prince of Portugal as the result of a move request. --Stemonitis 20:52, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
