The Aedui are, more than any other nation of Gaul, the one to whom I would attach 'high' importance on the rating scale. They were the most powerful and advanced people of the late La Tène, and they played a pivotal role in the Gallic Wars and the Augustan period. Q·L·1968 ☿ 20:46, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
