Advanced Air Defence

Advanced Air Defense, is an indigenously developed interceptor missile developed by India. It is yet to be formally named.It is a part of India's missile defense shield, to intercept and destroy against hostile incoming ballistic missiles. The exo-atmospheric version was tested on November 26, 2007, and endo-atmospheric version was tested on December 6, 2007. Both tests were successful.This missile has been developed by the DRDO.[1]
