[edit] Fluent linguist?
I doubt that Mr. Paul speaks all those lanugages fluently -- perhaps there's some confusion with his character in the Highlander TV series? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.144.240.25 (talk • contribs) 13:33, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Master Swordsman?
I suspect confusion with his character also in the claim of "master swordsman" (with many kinds of swords, no less). He is credited with seven years of martial arts training in four arts, none of which would have helped him master the swords mentioned. What is his sword training that entitles him to be called a "master" of not only the Katana, but also "the rapier, the sai, the nunchaku & the bo staff." -Erik Harris 21:57, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Since no one has offered a defense of these highly questionable claims, I've removed them from the article. -Erik Harris 12:50, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 10 Languages?
I seriously doubt Mr. Paul to be fluent in all these languages. We need to see some sources that back this up. If we don't I'm afraid we are going to be forced to eliminate this aspect of the article. Aren't you perhaps confounded with Duncan Macleod of Highlander, who in fact is fluent in around 8 languages? And second, where is it rumored that he speaks chinese and hindi as well? This is not encyclopedic information and if we don't receive some sources we need to delete that comment because it sounds unreal. Kiske 15:01, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- Since you're the second person to question this (it certainly does seem highly unlikely, to say the very least), and no one has done it yet, I've deleted the phrase. This article is getting shorter and shorter. -Erik Harris 00:30, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Void (movie)
There's not yet an article about this movie. There are some continuity glitches about the movie, but I'll stick to the ones after the black hole was created.
There should have been no air in the room with the hole, as it would have been sucked into the hole, and the remainder rarefied as it spread out to fill the void within the black hole's gravity well, and that section of rarefied air in turn sucked in, and the process repeats, rapidly thinning the room's air until new air entered when windows ruptured under external pressure. Then, there would have been tremendous air turbulence as it filled the room and was, at the same time, being sucked into the black hole. GBC 22:30, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Duncan.gif
Image:Duncan.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:36, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- As this image a) is a gif, b) has the wrong template (it's not a screenshot), and c) its uploader hasn't contributed for nearly two years, I feel it is ill-fated anyway, and it's better if it's removed from the article. I'll do it if nobody opposes. Rosenknospe 13:30, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

- Right, since nobody opposes, I'll remove it. We can't replace it by any of the Highlander screenshots as this is the biography of a living person, and we need a free use, JPG image here. Thanks Rosenknospe 11:18, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
