Adrian Jacobs (born 14 August 1980) is a South African rugby union player who plays for the Natal Sharks provincially and The Sharks in the Super 14. He predominantly plays Centre, but is a highly versatile backline player, covering Flyhalf, Wing and even Fullback for The Sharks. A fan favourite, Adi (as he is known) is a mercurial talent, usually coming off the bench as a so-called "super-sub", adding pace of foot and mind to the backline. Adi missed out on a 2006 Currie Cup semi-final spot after sustaining an injury in the penultimate match, in a season where he gained selection in 16 matches despite being hampered by injury. He has 10 caps for the Springboks.
