[edit] This article is very dated

It comes from the old Jewish Encyclopedia (public domain). Adon Olam has been recorded now in countless melodies, both traditional and modern. I don't feel that I am qualified to revise this article, but I hope that some recently trained cantor or Jewish educator will write and edit away, without feeling the need to save what is here already. --Metzenberg 04:59, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Non standard version isn't marked!

The version of Adon Olam in table format with transliteration is not the original.

[edit] Ommited Parts

In my synagogue, the parts

13 unfathomable and unimaginable B'li erekh b'li dim'yon

14 unchanging and irreplaceable B'li shinui ut'morah

15 He is without connections or separations B'li chibor b'li pirod

16 His strength and valor are great G'dol koach ug'vurah

and

21 He is a healer and a remedy v'hu rofe v'hu marpe

22 He watches and He helps v'hu tzofeh v'hu ezrah

are ommited, or not sung when we sing Adon Olam. Is there an explanation for this?--Idontknow610 (talk) 23:35, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
