Talk:Adolf Friedrich von Schack
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The location of the SCHACK galery at Prinzregenten Str. in Munich is the former Prussian legation to the king of Bavaria. The original SCHACK galery, his home in his days, was destroyed, when the Nazis established their party head quarters in Munich, in the early 1930-ies. The present SCHACK collection is only the remainder of the original setting, after the greater part of that collection perished in a fire in an international exhibit in Munich, in the early 1920-ies.
