Adolph Danziger

Adolph Danziger (also Gustav Adolf Danziger, Adolf Danziger de Castro) (b. 1859 d. 1959) was a Jewish scholar active in the early 20th century, writing several books on the Talmudic tradition.
He wrote Jewish Forerunners of Christianity, a book on the Jewish Patriarchs of the 2nd Temple Period, beginning with Hillel, continuing through Jesus Christ until he ends with a chapter on Rabbi Juda the Prince, the compiler of the Jerusalem Talmud. He uses references and quotations from the Talmud throughout his works.
Also he wrote various short stories together with H.P.Lovecraft under his pseudonym Adolphe de Castro. Examples are "The Electric Executioner" and "The Last Test"
