I thought there was also a brew (Stout) known as Adnams Oyster.

I am fairly sure the company suffix "PLC" wasn't in use in 1890. Can anyone confirm with certainty what the company changed its name to in that year? Barnabypage 13:59, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- The UK Companies House web-check states that the company (number 00031114) was incorporated on 24 March 1890 and changed its name from "Adnams & Company PLC" to "Adnams PLC" on 11 September 1999. The Adnams web-site simply says "Our History: 1890 - Adnams is established as a limited company and the Sole Bay Brewery is rebuilt." -- MightyWarrior 13:08, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
