Adnan Nawaz

Adnan Nawaz is a sports presenter, currently working for the BBC. He has presented the sport on BBC News, the corporation's rolling news channel in the UK, and on BBC World News since 2001[1]. He joined BBC News in 2000, initially behind the scenes, but soon switched to a presenting role. He also owns the world's largest collection of Subbuteo teams[citation needed], including the rare and very sought after Hamilton Academicals team from 1972.[citation needed]
He began work at the BBC in 1994, as a broadcast assistant in the Latin American section of the BBC World Service. He then moved to BBC Radio, where he was a producer and reporter specialising in sport.
Adnan is well travelled, having lived in the Philippines, Italy, England, the United States, France and Chile. He speaks five languages.
