Administrator of Veterans Affairs (United States)

The Administrator of Veterans Affairs was a head of Veteran Administration, a Government agency responsible for military veterans benefit system. The administrator was appointed by the President. This was under cabinet-level position. In 1989 Veteran Administration was formed into United States Department of Veterans Affairs, one of the executive departments with United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs as a head with cabinet-member status.
