Adini is a British Fashion Design House, wholesaler and supply company, established in London in 1979. It was one of the first domestic British fashion companies to import on a large scale clothes from Asia, especially India (which is an anagram of the word Adini). It was also one of the first British fashion companies to use ethnic fabrics/patterns and traditional craftmanship to achieve its look, that fuses classic English ladieswear with an Ethnic hint.
The company is based in West London, and sells to retail stores and boutiques throughout the world, with most of its customers based in the UK, Ireland, EU, USA and Middle East. The company now also sells direct to members of the public online and through its Mail Order catalgoue. This service was introduced in response to high demand in 2007, and is called Adini Online.
It was voted twice in the top ten of the UK's most popular independent brands by fashion analysis magazine Drapers Record in 2007.
The company specializes in womenswear and fashion accessories for ladies, and regularly attends Europe's top fashion trade shows including Pure in London, Pret a Porter in Paris, SIMM in Madrid, Moda in Birmingham and Futura in Dublin.
