Adiel Arthur Paananen (January 3, 1897 – July 25, 1968) was a Finnish cross country skier in the late 1920's and early 1930's.
He was born and died in Saarijärvi.
At the 1928 Winter Olympics he competed in the 50 kilometre event but did not finish.
Paananen won a bronze medal at the 1930 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in the 50 km.
