Adem Atay (born 8 December 1985[1] in Cambridge) is a former Turkish and English professional football (soccer) player.He trained at Fenerbahce academy and then Ipswich Town FC.He was on the books at Ipswich Town F.C., where in 2004-5 he was given a first team squad number, yet never made an appearance for the club, his only professional team to date in this country. He plays as a right winger.
In September 2007, he was on trials with Bury F.C. and played in a reserves game against Manchester City which he also scored in. However, he failed to earn a contract with them as manager Chris Casper didn't think he was better than the players they have.He has since <January 2008>, joined a Turkish team -Sariyer on an 18 month contract.
