Is this the Adam Harper who was at Peterhouse from 1998-2001? Look at my talk page and you'll probably figure out who I am... :-) Greycap 06:21, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Er possibly...my username is not great for anonymity...
Well you could be one of a few people. Perhaps I could be put put of my misery?
Could it be Mr Poyntz?
It is indeed. E-mail me at my name (alloneword) at hotmail, I haven't heard from you in a while. It would be nice to catch up! Are you still out in the Far East? Greycap 10:16, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Aha! Glad I'm right. For a scary moment I thought I might have met Adamson or Mandelbrote on the net. Indeed I am still trying to grind a shilling out of the China bond trade. I was looking through the Peterhouse Wiki entry and it mentioned the CTC but there was no link so I thought I would spend my lunch hour putting one in. Unfortunately the overly-dogmatic editors aren't happy with my reliance on personal experience and anecdote (apparently Wikipedia exists to summarise existing documentary sources) so it is in line for the chop. I will happily email you and it would indeed be good to catch up. One question - is your Christian name in its full or diminutive form? Adamharper1 10:26, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
It's the diminutive. Also my tip on getting round the rules is to write a referenced article on the original CTC then have a section on the Peterhouse one within that. Or stick it on your user page if you want to preserve the text. Incidentally I think it was me who added the CTC reference originally... Greycap 17:39, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Did you get my email last night old boy? Think I need to discuss this wikipedia business with you...they have taken my page down! Iconoclasts! I have saved all the content, though. Can't believe you are really working on 17th century history entries in your spare time. Very impressive...Adamharper1 08:56, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

It got trapped in my junk folder - will reply tonight. Greycap 15:49, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion

A tag has been placed on Cocoa Tree Club, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. [edit] License tagging for Image:Old court night 01t.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Old court night 01t.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:07, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
