[edit] Article Status

What else needs to be done to transform this from a stub to an article? dil 15:00, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

I think it could use some expansion on the catalysis (picture and catalytic cycle, maybe?), though I do feel like removing the stub-mark, and to clasify it as a start. So not much. --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:16, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

All the drug-making idiots, as well as, legit experimenters need a stern caution. As platinum black, the catalyst is so effective that without extreme caution, everything in contact with Pt or Pd can catch fire. Usual procedure is handling under N2, a technique only regular with experienced chemists. 68.115.155.215 (talk) 08:11, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
