Presumably named after the person of the same name? Sir Adam Beck, nicknamed the Hydro Knight because of his plan to provide the citizens of Ontario with publically owned inexpensive hydro power. www.londonhistory.org/sabeck.htm. Melody

This article is filed in the Western alum cat however there is nothing in the main text saying that Beck attended this university, or any other for that matter. Can anyone find a source verifying this his educational background? Wachowich (talk) 13:03, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
