Adam Brooks (born July 3, 1979) is a Canadian painter, filmmaker, and musician.

Brooks lives and works in Winnipeg, Canada. He grew up drawing superheroes, cats and comic books until he discovered oil paint and the work of Philip Guston, Francis Bacon, and Vincent Van Gogh. In 2002 he graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours degree in Painting. He has since produced five short movies, one CD, and a body of work on canvas and paper. His work has been exhibited in The Winnipeg Art Gallery, <SITE> Gallery, The Royal Art Lodge and various film festivals. In February of 2007 Adam wrote and recorded the popular internet song "Britney Spears shaved her head Tonight."
