[edit] Cross context articles

I'd like to see some articles that compare understandings of acting out across contexts. If you have any links please post them.

[edit] Acting-in

There is another term "acting-in" that complements the "acting-out" behavior.

When an addict is de-escalating his behavior - he is often "acting-in" - going to another extreme behavior. E.g. a sex addict may become completely abstinent for few days, compulsive overeater may eat too little, etc.

I tried to add that term to wikipedia - but it gets deleted.

Maybe it should be part of this article instead? Saaraleigh 19:06, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Sounds good, please add it. 212.56.88.63 21:30, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
