HM Prison Acklington is a prison located at Acklington, near Amble, Northumberland, England. It is a category C prison for adult male prisoners. The prison opened in 1972 and has a capacity of 882 inmates (as of March 2005).
HMP Acklington is the most northerly adult prison in England, and is built on the site of the former RAF Acklington airfield.
