MRSA, Staph infection, is a very bad disease. It is powerful enough to kill a person. Staph infection looks like a spider bite or ‘ringworm’, but you can notice Staph infection from the symptoms you get from it. The symptoms of Staph infection are red, swollen and itchy areas. You also get fevers, chills, chest pains and a rash. MRSA is caused by a flesh-eating bacteria called Staphylococcus Aureus. The disease itself is called MRSA because its real name is Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus. MRSA can be contagious by touch; like if you have a open cut and touch someone’s MRSA boil then touched your open cut, you can get MRSA. But not only by touch, you can get it by having it in your genes when your born. But don’t worry, Staph infection lives harmlessly on the skin and in the nose of almost 1/3 of every healthy person, and sometimes if Staphylococcus(the bacteria) enters the body, it can actually cause other diseases in the body such as VRSA or known as Vancomycin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus. Some ways to kill Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus is to wash your hands before dinner, using the bathroom, etc. You should also NEVER put your fingers in your mouth and/or nose after touching your skin, someone else’s skin, doorknobs and surfaces. Another way to get rid of it is to get antibiotics before you get the virus, and if you get the virus even with antibiotics, get Methicillin vaccine and the Vancomycin medicine. A disgusting, but helpful therapy is the Maggot Therapy. The Maggot’s clean out the dead skin and the soft-tissue wound to help the healing of the human’s infected areas of MRSA.

Did you know… 1: that the MRSA super-scare virus started in the 1940’s because of a dirty needle.

2: MRSA’s nickname is the ‘New Aids’, because it has killed more people than Aids ever did.

3: you should wash your hands before and after who use the bathroom, eat food and even use the shower.

4: MRSA is one of the only bacteria/virus that is resistant to all antibiotics while you have it.

5: MRSA not only can be affecting humans. It can actually inflict our pets(cats, dogs, primates, fish, etc.)
