You can take the checkuser request personally if you wish - that was not how I intended it. I posted it because, as I told you quite openly on the passive smoking discussion page:

(1) Your appearance at the page is, to the day, two weeks after User:BlowingSmoke's two-week ban expired.

(2) To date, your eight contributions have been to that page and to the checkuser page.

(3) Again as I explained, you seem to have formed a very rapid - some might say hasty - opinion of how the passive smoking article editing has taken place, such that your posts gave me the impression you had history on the page.

(4) The opinion you are espousing on the page is pretty much identical to that of User:BlowingSmoke.

For my part I feel it's entirely reasonable of me to request the checkuser given the similarities between you and BlowingSmoke; I certainly am not in any "haste to get [you] banned", nor have I "crapped all over" you. However, I am sorry if you feel put-upon. Nmg20 20:22, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
