Grading is a term which is applied to a wide range of subjects - it refers to categorising individuals with others sharing similar qualities. As such it applies to wool (but is often termed wool classing), wheat, soil, sand, meat, gravel, and a wide range of other matters.

This article maybe needs to move to Educational grades in Australia or something similar? and in accordance with the manual of style, should be able to use the article name in the lead section. Garrie 01:03, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

I agree; I added a merge tag to Grading in Australia and to GPA in Australia, pointing to Grades in Australia. Do you think it is still necessary to use the "Educational" prefix? I think just Grades is clear enough and simple, and in any case we can add a disambiguation note on top of the article :) Waldir ^talk 11:15, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Pointed here, I'd say Academic grading in Australia or Educational Assesment in Australia. Too many things are grades for this to be one article. Also, I'd say that this article is in desperate need of section headings and transition paragraphs. Mbisanz 18:12, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
