The Abyssinian Genet is a carnivore mammal, related to civets and linsangs. It is one of eleven species of genet, which are found through Africa, Europe and parts of the Middle East.
The Abyssinian Genet can be found in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan, and Djibouti, and inhabits moorland, grasslands and sub-desert areas.
