Abu-Saeed Abil-Kheir was a Persian poet and mystic. He is one of the most voluminous authors in Persian literature. His best-known work, Conference of the Birds, is an elaborate allegory of the soul's quest for reunion with God

Abil Kheir was born in Meyhaneh, a village located in Khorasan province of Iran. ^[1]^[2]

Abu-Saeed's school of thought influenced many scholars and poets including legendary Persian poet and mystic, Molavi (Rumi).
