I made some NPOV edits to get rid of the condescending language often employed by the 1906 Jewish Encyclopedia.

I think we should get rid of the Unicode characters, but they are not displaying well (I'm getting boxes). Could someone who can see them replace them with normal letters? JFW | T@lk 09:41, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
